Damping rubber products can effectively reduce the noise and vibration of all kinds of mechanical equipment in the process of work, improve work efficiency, dynamic and static stiffness ratio and static stiffness, damping coefficient is an important index to measure the quality of damping rubber products. When using recycled latex to prepare damping rubber products, the smaller the dynamic and static stiffness ratio is, the better the springback performance of damping rubber materials is, and the better the vibration transmission effect is. In the actual production, damping products manufacturers can reduce the dynamic and static stiffness ratio of latex damping rubber from the following three aspects.

1. Rubber raw materials

Theoretically, the higher the rubber content, the lower the dynamic and static stiffness ratio. The traditional ordinary damping rubber products generally use natural rubber as the main raw material, with appropriate amount of styrene butadiene rubber 2ylyy33 or cis-1,4-polybutadiene rubber; the dynamic and static stiffness ratio of damping products added with styrene butadiene rubber or cis-1,4-polybutadiene rubber is greater than that of pure natural rubber damping products. The performance characteristics of recycled latex and natural rubber are the same. Choosing recycled latex with high rubber content and proper use of natural rubber can prepare damping rubber with low dynamic and static stiffness and better performance than damping rubber.

2. Vulcanization system

In the preparation of damping rubber products with reclaimed latex as the main raw material, the vulcanization system affects the dynamic and static stiffness ratio of the damping material. In the actual production, the dynamic and static stiffness ratio of the vulcanizates cured with high sulfur and low promoter system is the smallest, the dynamic and static stiffness ratio of the vulcanizates cured with low sulfur and high promoter system is larger, and the dynamic and static stiffness ratio of the vulcanizates cured with total sulfur carrier system is higher. Therefore, it is suggested that high sulfur and low vulcanization promoting system should be selected for rubber damping products.

3. Reinforcing and filling system

The amount of compounding agent in the reinforcing and filling system of damping rubber products is second only to that of rubber, and the type of reinforcing agent and filler has a great influence on the dynamic and static stiffness ratio of the damping material of latex reclaimed rubber. In actual production, the dynamic and static stiffness of reclaimed rubber vulcanizate reinforced with small particle size and large specific surface area of hard carbon black (such as carbon black N330) is relatively high, and semi reinforced carbon black such as n774 is recommended. Diatomite, mica powder or clay can be used as fillers, and the dynamic and static stiffness ratio of recycled latex damping material is smaller.

In the actual production, when adjusting the rubber varieties and formula to reduce the dynamic and static stiffness ratio of the rubber products, the rubber product manufacturers also need to consider the changes of other mechanical indexes of the reclaimed rubber vulcanizate, reasonably design the formula of the damping products, reduce the dynamic and static stiffness ratio of the materials, further optimize the comprehensive properties of the finished products, and extend the service life of the damping products.
