Rubber antioxidant is a chemical substance that can delay or inhibit the aging process of rubber, delay the storage period and service life of rubber and rubber products, and can be divided into amines, phenols and other antioxidants according to the chemical structure, and the basic characteristics and application range of different varieties of antioxidants are different. When using recycled rubber as the main raw material to produce rubber products, rubber product manufacturers need to choose the appropriate antioxidant according to the working environment of the products.

1. Phenylnaphthylamine antioxidants

The typical varieties of phenylennaphthylamine antioxidants include antioxidant A and antioxidant D, which have good heat, antioxidation, flexural and cracking resistance, and can be used in combination with a variety of antioxidants to further improve the protective performance; This kind of antioxidant changes color when exposed to light, which is a "polluting antioxidant", which is mainly used for black products or dark products. Phenylnaphthylamine antioxidants can be used in the production of tires, hoses, tapes, rubber shoes, cables, rubber floors, gaskets, sponge rubber and other products using reclaimed rubber.

2. Aldehyde amine antioxidants

Typical varieties of aldehyde amine antioxidants include antioxidant AH and antioxidant AP, which have good heat and oxidant properties. It is not easy to spray frost when used, and has no protective effect on ozone, flexure and cracking; Discoloration in contact with light, it is a polluting antioxidant. Aldehyde amine antioxidants can be used alone or in combination with other antioxidants (such as antioxidant A, antioxidant MB and antioxidant 4010NA). Aldehyde antioxidants can be used in the production of tires, inner tubes, tapes, rubber shoes, wires, cables, dark industrial products and repair rubbers in the production of tires, inner tubes, tapes, rubber shoes, wires, cables, dark industrial products and repair rubber.

3. Ketoamine antioxidants

Rubber antioxidant RD

Typical varieties of ketoamine antioxidants include antioxidant RD, antioxidant BLE, and antioxidant AW, which have excellent protective properties against thermal oxidation and climatic aging. Antioxidants AW and BLE have certain antiozone effects; It has a certain degree of pollution but is not significant, and can be used in a small amount in light-colored reclaimed rubber products. When using reclaimed rubber E5LYY217 to produce rubber products such as tires and conveyor belts that work under dynamic conditions, ketoamine antioxidants are used in combination with 4010NA or AW to produce a synergistic effect, and are commonly used antioxidants in the production of tires, bicycle tires, hoses, tapes, wires and cables and industrial products.

4. P-phenylenediamine antioxidants

Typical varieties of p-phenylenediamine antioxidants include antioxidant DBPD, antioxidant 4010, antioxidant 4010NA, antioxidant 4020, antioxidant 4030, antioxidant H, antioxidant DNP, etc., good antiozone agent and antioxidant, the most significant antiozone effect is a derivative of phenylenediamine, several varieties of 4000 series, 4010, 4010NA, 4020, 4030, etc.; The 4000 series has the best ozone resistance and the most widely used is 4010NA, but it can be extracted from rubber products by water, 4020 will not be pumped out by water, and 4020 is more suitable for rubber products (such as tires) that come into contact with water.

Rubber products with high recycled rubber content can use p-phenylenediamine antioxidants. The combination of 4000 series antioxidants and naphthylamine antioxidants and microcrystalline paraffin can produce a strong synergistic effect.

5. Phenolic antioxidants

Typical varieties of phenolic antioxidants include antioxidant 264, antioxidant 2246, antioxidant SP, good antioxidant performance, weak protective effect, non-polluting antioxidant, often used in recycled rubber products with low requirements for anti-aging, can be used alone or in combination with other antioxidants. Phenolic antioxidants can be used for the production of white and colored rubber products or rubber products that require no discoloration and no migration.

6. Other antioxidants

Rubber antioxidant

In the production of recycled rubber products, antioxidant MB, antioxidant NBC, antioxidant MBZ, antioxidant NDPA and antioxidant TNP will also be used. Benzimidazole antioxidant is an antioxidant with excellent antioxidant and excellent antioxidant and heat resistance; In addition to antioxidant effect, the dithiocarbamate and xanthate of nickel metal also have certain antiozone efficacy; (3) Phosphite antioxidants are antioxidants and stabilizers, with good heat resistance; The combination of ester antioxidants and phenolic antioxidants has a good synergistic effect.

When using reclaimed rubber to produce rubber products, choosing the right antioxidant can effectively prolong the service life of rubber products.
