At present, the minimum speed of vehicles on expressways shall not be less than 60 km/h. In the process of overloading or high-speed driving, the tire bead is prone to voiding or bursting.  Whether the circle is prone to the main reason for the problem. So when using natural rubber and tire reclaimed rubber to produce cost-effective bead steel wire rubber, what measures should rubber products manufacturers take to solve this problem?

1. Use accelerator DZ

Sulfur-accelerator system is generally used when using natural rubber and tire reclaimed rubber to produce tire bead steel wire rubber. The sulfenamide accelerator DZ is easy to disperse in the rubber compound, has a long scorch time, and has high operational safety. The rubber compound with sulfur 2YLYY617 has good physical and dynamic properties, which is beneficial to improve rubber and brass-plated steel curtains.

2. Use fine particle carbon black

Carbon black is a commonly used reinforcing filler in the production of rubber products. The variety of carbon black affects the adhesiveness of the rubber. In theory, the finer the carbon black particles, the better the adhesive performance of the rubber. Therefore, carbon black with a small particle size, such as carbon black N326, is used when preparing natural rubber/tire reclaimed rubber with rubber to make bead wire rubber. N326 is a low-structure and high-wear-resistant furnace black with good reinforcement performance and low heat generation.

It should be noted that carbon black N326 is difficult to disperse in the rubber compound. Poor dispersion directly affects the tensile strength, abrasion resistance and fatigue resistance of the bead wire rubber. A dispersant can be added appropriately; if it is an open mill In rubber mixing, the open mixing can be changed to internal mixing, the feeding sequence and the amount of addition are adjusted appropriately, the mixing temperature is strictly controlled, and the dispersibility of carbon black in the natural rubber/reclaimed rubber is improved.

3. Reduce the amount of light calcium

Many bead wire rubbers are filled with a large amount of light calcium carbonate to reduce the cost of raw materials, but too much calcium carbonate will cause difficulty in mixing the rubber, reduce the amount of light calcium, use pottery clay appropriately, and increase the amount of light calcium. Improve the surface coating of the traveller and effectively reduce the cost of raw materials.

Reasonably choose the type and amount of compounding agents in the matching system, especially the vulcanization system and the reinforcing system; the editor will continue to share with you the reference formula of tire bead steel wire rubber and the issues that need attention in the production process.
