There are many reasons for the formation of reclaimed rubber surface frost or color, among which the three more common are:

1. The problem of vulcanization. formula matching (a certain ingredient, especially accelerators or vulcanizing agents) causes false saturation vulcanization of recycled rubber. After heating and pressure vulcanization, the molecules are still crosslinking at natural temperature, and after the crosslinking is completed, the excess unreacted substances will precipitate out of the surface, forming a rubber surface to spit frost or spray color.

2. Vulcanization process problems. There are problems in the process in the production of recycled rubber products, and the positive vulcanization formula will also occur after the process change, such as the vulcanization time is too short, and the temperature setting is too high to cause false vulcanization.

3. Vulcanization formula matching problem. Sometimes there is a limit value for adding more substances (for example, in many recycled rubber floor mat formulations, the amount of paraffin wax is usually increased to make it spit out of the surface when used later, forming a protective wax substance) The amount of additional addition has a limit value, and exceeding the limit value will also lead to frost or spraying.

2. Surface treatment after vulcanization is completed. The method of short duration is to apply lubricants to the surface, such as silicone oil, fatty acids, etc., which will have residues on the surface of rubber products treated in this way and the cost is extremely low. The long-lasting way is to do surface spraying polyurethane, this treatment requires cleaning and short-term heating of the rubber surface, the surface is smooth and bright, the duration is relatively long, and the cost is slightly higher.

3. Incremental precipitation. Incremental addition of paraffin, plasticizer, etc., will continue to precipitate to the rubber surface after rubber molding, long duration, high surface gloss, the disadvantage is that it will contaminate the packaging, and the general hand wipe will appear, which is not recommended.

The surface of rubber products and the correct storage method are also closely related. First of all, it is necessary to avoid exposing recycled rubber products to sunlight for a long time, so as to avoid aging of their surfaces due to heat and ultraviolet radiation; Secondly, pay attention to avoid contact with chemicals to avoid corrosion or damage to the rubber surface; Finally, choose a dry and ventilated environment for storage to avoid the influence of humidity and high temperature.
